Couples engage in therapy at various points throughout their relationship. Dr. Rogers has experience working with couples in long-term relationships, as well as couples who are interested in pre-marital/pre-cohabitation counseling.

Married or partnered couples experiencing repetitive arguments, feelings of distance or emptiness in their relationship, pervasive feelings of anger, resentment and/or dissatisfaction, or a lack of interest in a sexual relationship with one another frequently benefit from working with Dr. Rogers.

ADHD in one or both partners can frequently cause great discord, hurt feelings, anger, resentments, and loss of hope in the relationship. Working with an ADHD Coach can help to build the structure and organization that is often missing in the relationship; adding non-medical ADHD treatments can also help foster more understanding, calm, and hope. And, working with Dr. Rogers in therapy frequently brings about the change need to support the relationship.

Couples contemplating marriage/co-habitation often benefit by engaging in a therapeutic process aimed at developing a sound foundation for their relationship based on shared knowledge and realistic expectations. Couples explore their thoughts, feelings, and expectations about marriage/coupling in a safe, supportive, and realistic way by discussing topics such as: why they want to get married, what values they share, how they are unique from one another, and what their expectations are for their future together.
